Trouble

Monday, I initially decided to skip dinner and went straight to my pm class instead. On our break, I changed my mind and headed to the caf to see what was still available. As I was walking past the conference rooms, I saw Tone looking through a door while helping his sisters pack up for the night after their potting with power event. So Chocolatey. After class, I met some burnouts, Type Shit.

Tuesday, after seeing The Boss The Bossing, prepping for a photoshoot, I decided to start following him and he followed me back. I grew a pair and messaged him. He messaged me back but didn't give up much conversation.

Friday the Ks had a donation drive. I donated a bunch of things at the start of the semester, so I didn't have much to give. I found a few dresses I didn't mind parting with and headed out. When I got to their office, Ace was there playing a game with his sisters. He left out soon after I arrived. Oookay. I showed the ladies what I brought and they told me it was a donation drive for children. Oh vey. They told me that they would take my donation anyway and that I should come out to their Lupus awareness walk and field day Saturday. Sure. As I was leaving their office, I passed Ace in a different room and I could hear someone FLYING through the hall. When I turned the corner, The Boss was slowing his pace and went to a office opposite where I was.

Saturday, I woke up early to head up north for the Lupus walk. I met the group and they were nice but distant. I can relate. We started on our 1 mile walk, I looked to my left and suddenly...The Boss. I got excited for a moment and then a bit disappointed when he didn't say boo to me. Damn, do I have to initiate every interaction between us? How many opportunities does someone need? One, that's how many opportunities anyone that's for me needs. He soon disappeared as the walk continued. One of the other girls, gasped and exclaimed, "The Boss has a baby!?" About 10 necks broke, as we all turned around and saw him pushing a stroller while walking with a different group. One of his sisters said, no, that that wasn't his baby. A thousand hearts were saved. Later, the groups gathered for pictures and I took a moment to exclaim how cute the baby was and asked if it were his? He simply told me no.

I got back and started getting ready to meet with my new friend. We were making plans earlier in the week and she told me that I sound like trouble and that she was trying to get into some. Say less. We initially planned for her to meet at 9 but we were both ready early. I liked her style, we complimented each other well. We stopped by the Greek's field day so I could show my face and show some support before heading downtown. We got there and the Greeks were taking pictures. When we docked, All Eyes. I thanked the K who invited me and told her the event was cute. My girl and I noticed that she was a little dismissive but girl...you invited me out. I'm sure we read her energy wrong. I messaged my friend who offered us a ride and we were off.

To It!

We arrived at Emporium in Fulton Market, got some free tokens and headed in. Hmmm, interesting, to the bar we go. A round of lemon drops and a hard seltzer and the energy picked up. The music improved and the crowd diversified. Me and my girl played games, competed for kisses and explored every vibe we wanted. The volume. All of our coins, 2 shots and 1 seltzer later, the three of us stumbled to Velvet Taco. I was one shot over and hauled ass to the ladies. 2 bites and I was done.

I started feeling better, so we decided to roam around and find some trouble. The yns, bros and uncs were out! Me and my girl walked arm on waist/arm on shoulder and played around. At one point she gave me a hug while tripping me, making us both lightly fall on the ground as a bunch of YNs rushed to help us up. We passed a random car that was started but no-one was nearby. I pulled the passenger door handle, locked. I walked over and pulled the driver's door handle, success. I used to steal cars for a living, but this was too easy. I hopped my little ass in and looked around. I started to close the door before pulling off and suddenly some random bro was pulling at the door asking me what the hell I was doing? I inconspicuously asked, "What do you mean?" He said that I was in his car, to get out of it. I was like um no, this is my car. He objected and I pretended to take another look around before suddenly realizing that OMG, it wasn't my car. Sorry. And we were off.

Me and my girl collected numbers as we made our way to the car. The volume. At the car some guys stopped and chatted us up. I wasn't feeling mine, so I left his ass right there and roamed down the block a bit. A different guy was getting ready to cross the street and when we saw a rat the size of a cat run past us, we both screamed and laughed like two school girls. I invited him to follow me while I invited myself to a few pulls, while the last guy was getting laughed at about me quickly moving on.

I hung out of the sunroof as the three of us made our way back to campus. I wasn't ready for the trouble to end, I mean it hadn't even really started if you ask me, but my girl started talking about Ubers. Girl! We drove her home, and I kissed her on the cheek before she went in.

It's rare for me to find people I genuinely and easily connect with. She might be a keeper.

Sunday, I ran into Spotlight on the stairs as I was heading out for food. He reminded me that because he cancelled, he would take $10 off my cut. To just let him know when I wanted it done. I told him okay, it'll be sometime in October.
